The Refillery is an active member of Plastic Free Canterbury, and in this Podcast (28 mins) Ed talks with committee chair Pat and local activist Sian about the scourge of plastic pollution and environmental damage. Then Ed gets a tour of the shop highlights and a chance to speak with some refilling customers too.
Ed also invited The Refillery to host a “signing -up station” at the Canterbury City Show in July, where you could visit The Refillery to sign the petition calling on Canterbury City Council to adopt a Biodiversity Emergency Declaration. The Declaration was adopted on a unanimous vote, thanks to the huge public response to the petition.
